Nectary the Third

Okay, I have these pants in the darker brown. They do not look anywhere as dorky on me as they do in the photograph; on me, they're baggy, slouchy, and comfortable - very hip looking, rather than the retired high school English teacher look that's goin' on in this photo. Okay, so I have to roll the hem up once, and they're a little long in the crotch, but I like them very much. So here, then, is my question for you:

Can I wear them with a black roll-neck sweater and black boots?


(I also have them in light brown, which I could wear with a darker brown sweater for the full monochromatic effect. If I had brown shoes, that is.)
